Zaza Bibilashvili at GIP’s Annual Democracy Conference

On May 30, 2022, the Annual Democracy Conference #GEODEM2022 was organized by the Georgian Institute of Politics. The first panel covered the question on whether the Georgian Political Parties Ready for a Coalition? The second panel touched upon “Intra-Party Democracy - Why don't we have new leaders?” The third panel covered Developing Public Participation. Zaza Bibilashvili, the founder of the Chavchavadze Center, spoke on the second panel and explored the reasons why the rift between political parties and voters is deepening and why public engagement in internal party politics is important.
