Movie Screening on the Occasion of 182nd Birthday of Ilia Chavchavadze

On the occasion of Ilia Chavchavadze’s 182nd birthday, the Ilia Chavchavadze Center for European Studies and Civic Educations held a movie screening and discussion on the issues of good citizenship as well as justice and the judiciary.

In particular, within the framework of project “Youth for Justice”, Sidney Lumet’s movie “12 Angry Men” was shown at the Law School of the University of Georgia.

Project is led by the founder of the Ilia Chavchavadze Center, Zaza Bibilashvili. Renown practitioner and legal scholar Dimitri Dzagnidze and Dean of UG Law School, Ani Khurtsidze were invited guests.

After the movie screening a discussion ensued, with active participation of UG law students and academic personnel.
