Nino Kalandadze participates in Transatlantic Think Tank Conference in Washington and New York

Nino Kalandadze, Director of the Chavchavadze Center, took part in the 16th Transatlantic Think Tank Conference organized by the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies, held June 22–24 in Washington, D.C. at the Hudson Institute. The conference was co-organized by the Martens Centre together with the Hudson Institute and the International Republican Institute (IRI).

Held over three days across five sessions, the conference examined the future of the transatlantic relationship — from Europe's new defence responsibilities within NATO, to US-EU alignment on China, Russia, and the Middle East, to the domestic political shifts reshaping priorities on both sides of the Atlantic. As part of the program, the Embassy of Canada to the United States hosted a discussion on Canada's role in this new era of transatlantic cooperation.

The conference was hosted by Mikuláš Dzurinda, President of the Martens Centre and former Prime Minister of Slovakia. Following Washington, Nino Kalandadze continued her meetings in New York.
